Meet Catherine
With 16 years of experience, I integrate evidence-based clinical expertise with deep holistic care.
BABCP Fully Accredited CBT Therapist. Former NHS Lead Therapist & Senior Lecturer. Reiki Practitioner & Compassion Facilitator.

My philosophy
Hello, I’m Catherine Moore, founder and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at Iterum & Grá, a slow, holistic psychotherapy practice in Norfolk and online. Iterum means ‘again’. Grá means ‘love’. Inspired by my Irish heritage, together they reflect my belief that healing begins with compassion and the courage to begin again.
With 16+ years’ experience, I integrate evidence-based clinical expertise with deep holistic care, specialising in compassion-focused CBT for anxiety, depression and trauma. My approach recognises the intricate connection between mind, body, and emotional wellbeing, drawing on both clinical and academic settings to provide care that is safe, supportive, and effective.
Throughout my career, I have worked in lead therapist roles within the NHS, the private sector, and academia as a senior lecturer. This extensive background allows me to bring a wealth of evidence-based knowledge to our sessions, specifically tailored to your unique circumstances.
CBT is a structured, directive, and goal-oriented approach that focuses on changing specific thought patterns and behaviours. Beyond the clinical framework, I believe that healing also happens in a safe therapeutic relationship.
I am a national and international conference presenter, sharing clinical work and research with peers across the UK and beyond. I have also worked as part of an award winning NHS psychology team and helped to set up the award winning Steps to Wellness service in Northern Ireland.
BABCP register no. 080360. You can check my accreditation on the BABCP register.
Clinical supervision
I also provide clinical supervision for CBT therapists, trainees and other mental health professionals — individually or in small groups, online across the UK or in person in Norfolk. Supervision draws on my experience as a BABCP accredited therapist, former NHS lead therapist and senior lecturer, with space for case formulation, skills development, accreditation support and compassionate reflective practice.
